After setting the MS Windows 10 Update 1607 (and later) we recommend the following operations:
1. Install the last version of KVYcamBgr.
2. Set the last MS updates in your MS Windows.
3. If you use MS Edge, Chrome, Skype or Windows Camera at the same time, then stop the new Windows service: Frame Server. For this you can use my program ControlFramesrv – the utility for Frame Server control.
– Why do we stop the Frame Server?
Because the Frame Server allows you to use y the KVYcamBgr driver only one time in those programs. For example, if you are using KVYcamBgr in Windows Camera and want to open it in Edge (or Chrome), then the Frame Server locks this app in that browser.
– How to use the utility ControlFramesrv
1. Download the utility using this link.
2. Extract its zip. You get the following files:
– ControlFramesrv.exe – utility
– Disable.bat – file turns off Frame Server
– Enable.bat – file turns on Frame Server
– readme.txt – instructions
3. Usage of ControlFramesrv:
Stop the Frame Server:
– Run, as an administrator, Disable.bat.
– If it is successful, then restart the Windows.
Splitting in apps after stop:
– Edge – yes
– Chrome – yes
– Skype – yes
– Other apps – yes
Start the Frame Server:
– Run, as an administrator, Enable.bat.
– If it is successful, then restart the Windows.
Splitting in apps after start (by default):
– Available only one of apps: Edge, Skype, Windows Camera or Chrome
– Other apps – yes
